My wife and I decided to check this place because some friends said it was a great place.We were ther on Valentine's Day. Service was bad down stairs.So we went upstairs. Seasonal porter was good.We did not eat. Food was expensive for what you got. will not go back.

How can one rate a sampler set of beers when they are served to you in paper cups?? People, get it together, you start a brewpub to promote your beer not sabotage it!

Great Awesome! Great Great Great
Food was excellant and portions required take-out container. Menu has very wide range. I had the jumbalaya and it was very good. Only disappointing aspect is that the sampler is served in plastic cups.

Nice friendly place. Beers were very good and the food was excellent. Service was a little slow even though there was not alot of people there for a Friday evening

What a great place.Stoped in during mid afternoon.Place was kind of quiet and relaxing.Had a great chat with Kevin, who told us all about the history of the lodge.If we got back to Portland we'll be sure to stop in.

I only stopped into the "Den" for beer, but the beer is excellent and the people are friendly. The brewer took some time to talk with me and is a really nice guy. The owner is one of the founders of Portland BC. The next time I'm in Portland I'll make sure I go back.

Great ales, summer ipa is awesome, the kitchen produces an amazing array of "pub grub" to upscale entrees, all of which we have tried were "awesome" one of my 10 best !!
